Using your Job Manager
Once approved a CV of you will automatically be created and appear in the Entertainers Directory for searches matching your employment preferences. The Entertainers Directory is used by both our recruitment team and employers throughout the UK and Europe to recruit the entertainers they need. By appearing in the Entertainers Directory you can be considered for thousands of positions every year.
If an employer is interested in you they will send details of the position to your Job Manager Inbox for you to look at. You then just need to decide whether the position is of interest to you or not and tick the relevant box. It's that simple!
What do I do when I receive a job offer? When job offers are sent to your inbox you should receive a text or email alert notifying you of new job offers - so it is important to keep you contact details up to date and visit your inbox regularly. To view each job offer click the [VIEW] button on the listing to read the full details of the position. After reading the details simply click the YES tick if your are interested in discussing the position further, or the NO cross if your are not. If you tick YES you will be shown details on what the employer would like you to do next, i.e. call them, email them etc. This is not a contract of employment or acceptance of employment, you are just showing an interest in the position so you can discuss further. It is then up to you to deal directly with the employer about the position.
Please note that job offers will only display for a maximum of 3 days, so please ensure you notify the employer as quick as possible if you are interested or not. After 3 days the position will be closed and the employer notified that you have failed to respond.
How can I update or change my CV details. Simply enter the EDIT CV + CONTACT DETAILS section of Job Manager and update your details as you wish. If you want to upload a new picture please up load it, this will take a couple of days to approve before it appears on your CV.
I'm not available anymore, how do I stop being put forward for jobs? Enter the EDIT CV + CONTACT DETAILS section of Job Manager and update your availability, if you select NOT AVAILABLE you will stop appearing in the Directory searches. You can then come back at anytime a reset your availability again. By managing your availablilty dates correctly you can even line up your next job before finishing the one that your in. (Why wait to be unemployed?)
I'm not happy about a job or employer that I sourced through you. There is an employer feedback form in your Job Manager that you can use to tell us about any complaints you have. We regularly monitor and review employers recruiting through the service to assess their suitability and any feedback is of great help.
I've got a job, what do I do now? Simply use the notify us of employment form in your Job Manager and we will amend your availability details accordingly. When you are available or looking for work again simply come back and re-activate your account.
Remember to check your inbox regularly and keep your details up to date or you may be missing out on jobs!
